Unlike borewells, an open well draws water from the shallow aquifer and recharges naturally with rainfall — making it ideal for agricultural irrigation, livestock watering, and rural domestic supply. Our team specialises in digging open wells from 4 to 12 feet in diameter and 30 to 80 feet deep, depending on the soil profile and water table at your site. We start with a free site survey to assess soil type (clay, laterite, red loam, black cotton, or rocky), study the local water table, and recommend the right diameter and depth for your needs. Excavation uses a combination of JCB / Poclain hydraulic excavators for the upper section and hand-finishing for the final feet — preserving the precision required to maintain wall stability. We handle wall reinforcement (with concrete rings or stone pitching where the soil demands it), dewatering during construction, and final finishing. Every well is delivered with a one-time water-yield assessment so you know what to expect.
